RAFF Plane created by John Krouse of Maryland
This plane is a 'Radio-Assisted Free-Flight' (RAFF) flyer which has no rudder or elevator controls.  Lift for this 12 gram indoor model plane comes from a 2" x 16" wing, and is powered by a 6 mm pager motor with a 56 mm direct-drive prop.  Climb and glide flight path are optimized by a pre-set CG location, motor thrust angle, and rudder offset.   A unique feature of this plane is the motor mount system which uses a plastic drinking straw, and a metal paper clip.

This plane uses a MicroInvent MINOR receiver.

Thank you John.
