| Greg made this Piper Cub from a Herr Engineering kit. The wingspan is 17" and the plane weight is approximately 26 grams. The tail surfaces needed to be enlarged approximately 25%. Greg says this project was challenging but rewarding. The Piper Cub takes off nicely as long as the controls are not moved. Outdoor flight is no problem in still conditions. |
| The components used on this Cub are a Gasparin G15 4W Bee motor, a MicroInvent MBC3 ESC, MicroInvent LIPO130-P LiPo, MicroInvent MINOR Plus Receiver, two Toki RC-1 SmartServos, and a MicroInvent MFC5030S prop. |
