Piper Cub by Greg Norsworthy

Greg made this Piper Cub from a Herr Engineering kit.  The wingspan is 17" and the plane weight is approximately 26 grams.  The tail surfaces needed to be enlarged approximately 25%.  Greg says this project was challenging but rewarding.  The Piper Cub takes off nicely as long as the controls are not moved.  Outdoor flight is no problem in still conditions.
The components used on this Cub are a Gasparin G15 4W Bee motor, a MicroInvent MBC3 ESC, MicroInvent LIPO130-P LiPo, MicroInvent MINOR Plus Receiver, two Toki RC-1 SmartServos, and a MicroInvent MFC5030S prop.
